The guiding focus of the School of Arts and Social Studies (SoAS) at Nightingale college is student experience and development. The SoAS was established in year 2011 with a long-sought vision of the university’s leaders and thinkers to provide cutting-edge education from introductory to advanced, in the field of Humanities. It started with a mission to enable its students to hone the skills required to fight the challenges of the society. Humanities at SRU is a liberal, safe and an inclusive space which identifies and nurtures the young leaders of this country giving them ample of opportunities to dream and discover. Eligibility: Student passing class 12/graduate examination from an accredited Board/University would be eligible to seek admission to Part-I and Previous year in P.G. degree course. Admission in P.G. classes shall be made on merit basis.Subjects at u.g. level : Compulsory : General English, General Hindi, Elementary Computers, Environmental Science.Electives : Humanities / Social Sciences (Pass Course) Hindi Literature, Sanskrit, English Literature, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, Geography, Economics & Public Administration.Attendace : All NCG students must be regular in attendance.
